Mr Chua gave us the last reminder to give our blog id by Sunday ( 24 January 2010 ) . All were shock ! But lucky , mine is done . Ha ha . Sorry for my classmates . :(

Well , today we learned about mercy . Mr Chua asked us to give our own definition on what we knew about the word mercy . Mine was - to give chances . With an example of : I'm begging you or mercy . Give me another chance .

Ha ha . Actually , in the dictionary , the meaning is : compassion or kindness shown towards an enemy , an offender or someone in one's power . We get this meaning from Mr Chua's hand phone ( i-touch ) . I want that hand phone ! Never mine , it's okay . Then , Mr Chua asked us to take out a blank piece of fullscap paper and our Shakespeare text . Mr Chua then asked us to form into partners . I forget the drills given by him . We were told to write down a title : Qualities of Mercy . We have to search the qualities in the Portia's line . There were alot of points . Phew ! And the bell rang . So sad . We had to do it as homework . pffft ^___' . Mr Chua check the work that was given by Miss Shalar . Luckily , I wrote my index number , name and class . Those who didn't , had to stay to complete it . Ha ha .

p/s : Sorry for this short posting . I just couldn't remember what's going on that day . Sorry :)

Well , today , Wednesday . Mr Chua came ! Yeah ! :DD We were so happy . He , though still in an unhealthy mood came in class to teach us . He was coughing all the way . But , he was happy to see us . Well the routine we always do , we greeted him . It's normal . All of those ho brought their materials sat down , while those don't , had to stand . I was one of them :( This is the first time I didn't bring my materials . It was quite a number but Mr Chua believe that we could do a better job . So he gave us a chance . Thanks Mr Chua . I'm sorry . But , I appreciate for giving me a chance .

I was scared that he scold me . Phew , lucky he closed one eye . Well , first thing first , he asked us to take out our homework . But , it's stated that we have to hand in on Friday . He was like surprised and open his Kung Fu style .

Well , Kung Fu panda can be Mr Chua . Ha ha . I'm just joking . This is an example of Mr Chua Kung Fu style . Ha ha . Just an example okay ? Please don't be mad with me :DD .

He then took out piles and piles of worksheets, which did not interest us at all, and distributed it to each and everyone of us. There , Learning Log Evaluation worksheet and also our new contents page. Phew.

Then he said " It's alright . Now , please bring your files with the Shakespeare text in it and line up in twos outside the class . " We were wondering where are we going . We thought of going to the library but instead , the art area which is just a stone away from our class ' ____' " . We were asked to be seated . Well , to not waste time , we seat where our butts are seated . I sat beside Ramona as I didn't have my file with me . Just , Mr Chua briefed us a little about what we were supposed to do . He asked us to act the scene of Merchant of Venice out ! I was nervous though . But , I want to show my talent to my classmates . He gave us work to complete . We in our index number groups have to search the meaning of our characters . My character is Shylock - The Jew . Huh ? I don't really understand what is Jew . Mr Chua asked us to find out what is the meaning and pass up our information on Friday .

Phew , I thought it's going to rang soon , but we have about 25 minutes left ! Do we have to act it out ? Yes ! Mr Chua asked for volunteer but none of us raised up our hands . With no other choice , he had to called us out by our index number . If it's not a mistake , the first number was 33 . Then 13 and so on . I wasn't called but volunteered myself . I was given the character of Bassanio . He a poor man with high wish of marrying a rich women named Portia . Well in Merchant of Venice , those who want to marry a women needs to have alot of money . But Bassanio has none . So he went to his best friend named Antonio for money . Antonio is a Merchant of Venice . He wanted to helped but can't as all his money is on his ships for trading . With no other method , both of them decided to meet with Shylock . Basically , he is a moneylender . Antonio went to Shylock and asked for three thousands ducats . And so on .

We have to act out the part where they were in the court . Where I am Bassanio , Hidayah as Portia , Amirul as the judge , Zuhairi as the Shylock and Daniel as Antonio . It's was very fun . We do it with the help of Mr Chua . I did it with expression . While having fun , the bell rang ! Ugh ! We stopped and with Mr Chua asked us to read the rest at home . With his command of lining up , we did as told and went back to class .

We were laughing at each . However, I enjoyed the Literature lesson very-very much! We got a chance to interact with our classmates and contribute ideas to the play that we are doing. I find it very enjoyable. And, I'm looking forward to the hectic days ahead! :)

I was excited for today lesson . Unfortunately , Mr Chua was absent . Why ? Well , he have the reason . Miss Shalar took our class . She introduce herself to us . But , her tone was a fierce tone . We were certainly not happy '___' " . As we thought it will be Mr Chua . We were also fidgeting as Literature is the lesson before recess . Guess that's the reason . Well , Miss Shalar , we thought she was a very fierce teacher , but I find out that she's a fine teacher . She enters and scold us . Well , it's normal for every teacher because of students did not bring the materials for the lesson . o , those who did not bring the materials , Good Luck ! She asked those who did not bring to share with those who brought their materials . Well , she had the same rules like Mr Chua . To put our items for learning on table before she enters . Basically , she talked to us about Macbeth again . We were supposed to present our group work but instead , we silenced ourselves and listened to her teaching . She explained to us who is Macbeth and the scenarios going on . She even asked us to read about the scenarios when the three wicked witches were together . She read for us with her fullest expressions . WOW ! It's amazing . After reading , she asked us to imagined where are the place taken when the witches are together . I started thinking . ' Is it under the lightning , thunder or in rain ? ' I kept thinking .

Guess what ? The bell rang ! It's recess time , but , we are not able to go out of the class . Miss Shalar gave us homework ! Phew . Lucky , I did think of the place . She asked us to draw out and colour the scene . She wrote it on the whiteboard under the homework side . This is what she wrote , ' Draw + colour the scene where there is 3 witches planning of meeting Macbeth on A4 paper ' . Phew , hard work is needed of course ! Ha ha . She check on those who written on our diary and let those go for recess first . I'm one of them ! Yeah !

What I have learned ? Easy . I learned that those who thinks can go further then those who don't . We think when doing our work so that we can achieve what we want . But , we've to put in hard work to achieve that too ! All thanks to Miss Shalar to teach us when Mr Chua was absent . Thank You Miss Shalar ! :)

We had our lesson on Friday . Second lesson of the week . We hand in our homework on cinquains . Phew ! Not bad . I did it ! Finally .

On this lesson , we get our Shakespeare text . Without wasting any time , we get down to business . Mr Chua asked those who didn't bring their items to stand up . Lucky , I was not one of them . Mr Chua gave them a chance as he says ' I close one eye for now ! ' Ha ha . Well , Mr Chua started to explain the text to us . What or who is Shakespeare ? He's actually a man who started to wrote a scene storybook which means act or known as script . He's a very talented man . He wrote a lot of script for people to act out . Well , we don't really understand what's the words he's using but Mr Chua helps us to change it to our language . He modify it . Thanks Mr Chua !

We were told to read the first text which is on Macbeth . It's an interesting story afterall . The story goes like this . . .

Macbeth just came back from a war with his men's . Suddenly , 3 witches stopped by him . He was told that he will be the king but not his children . It will be one of his men children . The witches laughed and flew away . Obsessed with the throne , he started killing people . He could not controlled his anger and other feelings . He believed what the witches told him without investigating anything . He was too confused !

After reading that text , I feel that Macbeth is just a greed person without thinking of sympathy . He even had the heart to kill innocence people for the throne . What a pathetic person he is ! From the written script , I can tell that witches are a bad one . They have planned all the meeting with Macbeth . Very bad ! If I was Macbeth , I would have ponder about it . What a mistake he made !

After reading the text , Mr Chua asked us to be in our group to do a song or cheer on the script of Macbeth . It was challenging but fun . My group consists of 4 person including me . They are : Kai Li , Jun Yuan and Guo Zhong . We made a song using the rhythm of ' Barney ' . Mr Chua walked around and Asked . He says our plan is GOOD ! Bell rang and Mr Chua asked us to get back on our own seat . He talked a bit and greeted goodbye . He left the class .

Afterall , I did enjoy this lesson as i did interact with my friends . I cannot wait for the other lessons ahead ! :)

We had our first Literature lesson on Wednesday . We weren't quite sure but we followed what had been told . Anyway , Mr Chua ( our Form teacher as well as our Literature teacher ) came in to class and asked us to write each of our name on an ice-cream stick . It was fun though :DD . Most of us decorated it while the others just wrote their name . He then , asked us to put each of our ice-cream stick into a bottle which he was holding while walking to each of our tables . After finished collecting all of our sticks , he then , list down a few rules . It was not interesting though . But , with no choice , we had to listened .

His rules were :

1) Never to add in or take out any sticks from the bottle .

2) When he's talking , he expect everyone to silent their own mouth .

3) Not to interrupt when he's talking .

4) Whenever we are not able to hear , raised up our hands for him to repeat himself .

5) We have to be punctual in the submitting of our assignments .

6) Before he enter our class , he expect us to be ready for lesson by putting our Literature file and the worksheet given by him to be on the table at every lesson .

Well , so far that's what I remembered . After listing down the rules when everybody have fallen asleep , I guess , he asked us to take out a blank piece of foolscap paper . He asked us to do an exercise on Cinquains . We were all blank at that point of time . I was wondering actually . He laugh and teach us what is Cinquains . After 10 minutes of teaching , he asked us to copy an example . Which is a cinquain on our school . It was fun actually . A few minute before the bell rang , he asked us to do a cinquain on ' Me , myself ' . We were all excited . My partner and I , Indra , discuss . It was quite difficult still . Ha ha . What is Cinquains ? It is a short poem which have to be in the middle of the foolscap paper always with at least a shape in each poem . Example -

I love to play soccer during my free time .

This is an example of a cinquains . We are not able to repeat any words like play . Once you wrote play , you are not able to insert any other words like playing or playful . This cinquains has a shape of a Chrismas tree . There are many more shapes of designs we can make . First , we have to write the title . The next line , we have to write about our characters . Next , write something with -ing at the back . After that , we are supposed to write a sentence about ourselves . Finally , write other words that refers to the subject . Remember ! Not to use a word twice .

After finishing the cinquain , he gave us homework to do . Which is cinquains on ' Literature ' . We moan at first but , its had to be done . So , we wrote it down on our dairy . The work is to be passed up the next lesson . Pity us ! '___' " The bell rang . We greeted goodbye to Mr Chua and , he walked out of the class .
